For over 30 years, we have collaborated with some forty healthcare professionals and hospitals to deepen our understanding of the mechanisms of action of our products and to scientifically validate their benefits.

This year, we are honored to support several associations working for women with breast cancer: Think Pink in Belgium, Fundación Contigo in Spain, and RoseUp Association in France. Our social commitment translates into on-the-ground actions to support women in their fight against cancer, a common thread uniting and inspiring all of INULA (Pranarôm, HerbalGem, and Biofloral).

Specifically, we are taking action on 3 major areas:

At Inula, we are actively committed to reducing our environmental footprint and promoting solidarity initiatives.

A site powered by renewable energy

Our main site operates on 100% renewable electricity, thus limiting our carbon impact.

Responsible waste management

In Ghislenghien, 93% of our waste is either recycled or used for energy recovery, thus contributing to a more circular economy.

A commitment to solidarity with Goods to Give

Because waste has no place in our worldview, we collaborate with Goods to Give , a solidarity platform that redistributes our unsold goods to charities helping people in precarious situations in Belgium. In 2024, this represented more than 135,000 products donated to those who need them most.

A sustainable and responsible value chain

We work all over the world in close collaboration with producers, distillers, and plant harvesters.

This proximity allows us to control the quality of our products from plant to bottle and to support our partners in a transition towards more environmentally friendly agriculture.

Pranarōm is the first aromatherapy laboratory to highlight Demeter-certified essential oils, guaranteeing that these essential oils are sourced from biodynamic agriculture, a method that goes beyond organic farming by respecting natural cycles and actively preserving soils and biodiversity. Free from synthetic pesticides, these essential oils are part of a sustainable approach that values agricultural diversity and prioritizes responsible ecological practices.

100% of our lavenders and lavandins are French.

Over 95% of our buds come from France

By 2024, nearly 85% of the raw materials used in the manufacture of the products will come from France.

ISO 22716 (cosmetics) and FSSC 22000 (food).
