HerbalGem commits to Pink October
Committed to advancing research and making a positive change in healthcare, HerbalGem wishes to intensify its positive impact and solidarity by actively mobilizing our teams around a cause that is particularly close to our hearts:
Supporting women affected by cancer by helping them live better with their illness through the complementarity of natural therapies.
Our commitment is built around 3 pillars: supporting cancer-fighting associations, our initiatives to advance research and patient care, and raising awareness among our teams.
Pranarōm supports the Think Pink association
Think Pink is the Belgian national breast cancer organization. Founded in 2007, Think Pink leads awareness campaigns on the importance of early detection of breast cancer and supports patients and survivors.
The organization raises funds to finance scientific research and projects that improve the quality of life for women affected by breast cancer.
Think Pink also offers direct support services, such as the distribution of thousands of Think Pink boxes, a "box of advice" offered to every woman affected by breast cancer.
Think Pink is also known for its sporting and solidarity events such as the Race for the Cure, which brings together thousands of participants in Belgium every year.
Our commitment to solidarity
As a company committed to the natural health sector, taking a firm stand in this area is a given for us.
Our social commitment is expressed through 3 actions to support women affected by cancer:
- Sharing our expertise in natural therapies via training for healthcare teams in hospital settings;
- Mobilizing our teams to participate in support events such as the Odyssea solidarity run;
- Our commitment to the Rose Up association: starting October 1st, HerbalGem commits to donating €1 to the Rose Up association for every product purchased on the site.
Mobilizing our teams: prevention and awareness
For 3 years, our teams have taken part in solidarity runs in France, Belgium, and Spain. In 2024, more than 100 colleagues mobilized around a common goal: to show our support for the fight against cancer.
We also organize awareness-raising moments in the form of workshops for discussion or sharing information on the importance of prevention and self-examination.
Every day, 520 women are diagnosed with cancer. Together, let us make Pink October a time of commitment and collective support. Let us offer women the necessary support to fight the illness.
